Designers and artists rely on color theory and its foundations - color wheels and harmonies - to find the perfect color combinations. Alternatively, if you're new to the basics of color science and are looking for a simple app to study color harmony in practice, Color Gear has got you covered.

Choose the color wheel that best suits your needs. Our app supports two color models: the Full Color Wheel (RGB model) and the Basic Itten's Color Wheel. The Itten color scheme is commonly used by artists, while RGB is designed for online use. For both options, you can apply one of the ten available color combinations or harmonies.

Extract colors from your own images with ease. Simply select the desired picture from your phone and let the application's algorithms work their magic. From there, you can choose your favorite colors and save them to your palette.

Find matching colors for your custom color inputs. Enter your specific color code and discover corresponding color harmonies with accuracy.

Edit colors effortlessly with our editing tool. Achieving a balanced quantitative ratio of colors is crucial to ensure harmony in your palette. The application offers a convenient function for quickly swapping colors in images, with three pictures and a gradient carousel available for palette editing. This allows you to see how selected colors look in different ratios.

Manage and share your palettes easily. In addition to saving, exporting, and removing palettes, you can share them conveniently by selecting either text HEX codes or images as the sharing mode. Furthermore, copying a specific color code from a swatch to the clipboard is always just a tap away.

In developing Color Gear, our primary goal was to create a professional yet user-friendly application that offers two color circles, ten color harmonies, the ability to input color codes manually, and a convenient palette editing tool - all in one accessible package.
